What’s happening
Dymocks Tutoring and Talent 100 are closing. Parramatta and online classes carry on.
Dymocks Tutoring, including Talent 100, is closing all of its tutoring hubs at the end of Term 3, 2026. Every class runs to the end of term with the same tutors, and the last classes are on Sunday 27 September 2026.
For families at the Parramatta hub and those learning online, classes continue in Term 4 with Uplift Education. We’re taking up residence at the same Fitzwilliam Street campus, so your child walks into a building they already know. We’re preserving a very similar timetable wherever possible, and we’re working hard to retain familiar tutors.
Uplift Education is a separate, independent tutoring provider. We opened in Liverpool in 2011 and now teach more than 1,400 students, and we’ve supported over 10,000 since we began.

What stays the same, and what’s new
We know the two things on every parent’s mind are the timetable and the tutor. Here’s what to expect from Term 4.
Staying the same
- The same campus: Level 3, 1–3 Fitzwilliam Street, Parramatta, about 70m from Parramatta Station
- A very similar timetable, preserved wherever possible
- Familiar faces. We’re working hard to retain the tutors your child knows
- Small-group classes, on average about 12 to 15 students
- Teaching built around the NSW syllabus and the HSC
New with Uplift
- Every class is hybrid. Attend in person or join the same class live online
- Every lesson is recorded and available to rewatch for 13 days
- A 47-week teaching calendar, so learning doesn’t stop for the holidays
- Tutor access between lessons through Microsoft Teams class groups
- Marked homework with written feedback, weekly resources and parent–teacher meetings, all in one fee
Continuing with Uplift takes three steps
- 01
Enrol online
Choose your child’s classes on our enrolment page, or send us a message through the contact form and our team will help you choose.
- 02
Tell us what they attend now
Let us know the classes your child attends at Dymocks Tutoring or Talent 100, and our team will match them to the closest equivalent at Parramatta and confirm the timetable with you.
- 03
Start on Monday 12 October
Come to Fitzwilliam Street or join online. If a class clashes, the recording covers you for 13 days.
Talent 100 and Dymocks Tutoring online students
If your child studied with Talent 100 at Parramatta, or with Dymocks Tutoring online, you continue with Uplift the same way. With Uplift, online tutoring means joining a live Parramatta or Liverpool class from home, with the same tutor, lesson and resources as the students in the room.
Were you at another Dymocks Tutoring hub?
Dymocks has pointed families at its other hubs to a different provider. You’re also welcome to join Uplift live online from anywhere in NSW, including families from:

Questions from Dymocks Tutoring and Talent 100 families
What is happening to Dymocks Tutoring Parramatta?+
Dymocks Tutoring and Talent 100 are closing at the end of Term 3, 2026. At Parramatta, Uplift Education is taking up residence at the same campus, Level 3, 1–3 Fitzwilliam Street, and classes continue with Uplift from Monday 12 October 2026.
When is the last Dymocks Tutoring and Talent 100 class?+
According to Dymocks Tutoring, the last classes run on Sunday 27 September 2026. Uplift's classes at Parramatta start on Monday 12 October 2026, the first day of Term 4.
Is Uplift Education the same business as Dymocks Tutoring or Talent 100?+
No. Uplift Education is a separate, independent tutoring provider, founded in Liverpool in 2011. We're running tutoring from the Fitzwilliam Street campus in Parramatta and continuing classes for Dymocks Tutoring and Talent 100 families at Parramatta and online.
Will my child keep the same tutor and timetable?+
We're preserving a very similar timetable wherever possible, and we're working hard to retain familiar tutors. We can't promise every tutor or time slot will be identical, but tutor continuity is a priority for us throughout each student's time at Uplift.
How do we move from Dymocks Tutoring or Talent 100 to Uplift?+
Enrol on our website, or contact us on 1300 92 92 99 and our team will help. Tell us the classes your child attends now and we will match them to the closest equivalent at Parramatta.
My child was a Talent 100 student at Parramatta. Can they continue?+
Yes. Talent 100 students at Parramatta continue with Uplift at the same Fitzwilliam Street campus, and can attend in person or join the same class live online.
What happens to Dymocks Tutoring online students?+
Online classes also continue with Uplift. Online students join a live Uplift class remotely, with the same tutor, lesson and resources as the students on campus, and every lesson is recorded and available for 13 days.
We were at a different Dymocks Tutoring hub. Can we join Uplift?+
Yes. Families from Burwood, Chatswood, Epping, Hurstville, Penrith, Newcastle, Wollongong or anywhere else in NSW can join Uplift classes live online. Families close enough to Parramatta or Liverpool can also attend in person.
Who do I contact about a Dymocks Tutoring refund or account credit?+
Refunds, account credit and your Dymocks account are handled by Dymocks Tutoring, not Uplift. Their closure FAQ at dymockstutoring.edu.au explains each of these, and you can call Dymocks Tutoring on 1300 33 77 88.
How much does Uplift cost?+
Uplift lists its fees openly on the Our Courses page, and every subject can be chosen individually with no compulsory packages. Online attendance costs less than attending in person. Our team can confirm the fees for your child's subjects on 1300 92 92 99.
Can we try an Uplift class first?+
Yes. Every family is welcome to book a free trial lesson and see how an Uplift class runs before enrolling, at no cost and with no obligation.
