Your child sits in on a real class, with the mentor who would teach them. No cost, no obligation, and no commitment until you’ve seen it for yourself.
What happens after you register
Four steps, and you can stop at any of them.
You register
Tell us your child’s year level and the subjects you’re considering. It takes a couple of minutes.
We come back with times
We match your child to the right cohort and send the sessions that fit — usually the same day. If two subjects clash, we’ll say so and offer the alternative.
Your child attends the trial
A real class with the mentor who would teach them. You are welcome to ask them afterwards what they thought — it is the only review that matters.
You decide
Continue and we enrol them; or don’t, and that is genuinely fine. There is no cost either way.
Questions parents ask before enrolling
What year level do I enrol my child in? +
Classes are named for the year level your child is entering in 2027, not the year they are in now — a student finishing Year 8 this year enrols in the Year 9 (2027) class. You do not need to work it out yourself: tell us the year they are in now and we will place them correctly. You can also see every class by year level on our courses page.
Is the trial lesson really free? +
Yes. There is no cost for the trial and no obligation to continue afterwards. You are not asked for payment details to book it.
Do we have to enrol in a package? +
No. OC and Selective subjects can each be chosen individually, and there are no compulsory bundles at any year level. Enrol in one subject if that is what your child needs.
Can we start partway through a term? +
Yes. We teach across a 47-week calendar rather than four discrete terms, so there is no single intake date to wait for. Register and we will tell you the next available session.
What if my child misses a lesson after enrolling? +
They can join the same class live online instead of attending in person, and every lesson stays available as a recording for 13 days. A missed class is never a lost class.
Can my child change subjects or sessions later? +
Yes — talk to us and we will move them if a different session suits better. We also aim to keep your child with the same mentor throughout their time at Uplift rather than reassigning them each term.
My child currently attends Dymocks Tutoring or Talent 100. Do we need to register here? +
Yes. Register here and tell us the classes your child currently attends, and our team will carry them across for you. We are preserving a very similar timetable wherever possible and working hard to retain familiar tutors. Our guide to how Uplift lessons work covers the rest.
