Reading and writing are half the Selective test. We’ve taught English since 2011.
Our students have achieved state ranks in Year 12 English, including 1st in NSW for English Extension 1. We bring that same depth of teaching to age-appropriate lessons for younger students.

What’s the difference between the OC and Selective tests?+
The Selective test includes reading, mathematical reasoning, thinking skills and writing. The OC test includes reading, mathematical reasoning and thinking skills, with no writing section. Our classes are built around the test your child is sitting.
Does my child need to take every subject?+
No. OC and Selective subjects can be selected individually, so your child can focus on the areas where they need the most support.
Can my child join online?+
Yes. Online students don’t join a side class. They join the same live lesson as the students in the room, with a tutor who talks to them directly, shares the presentation and streams the class.
What happens if my child misses a lesson?+
A missed class is never a lost class. Every lesson is recorded and stays available to rewatch for 13 days.
How will I know how my child is going?+
Students receive feedback every week on what they’re doing well and what to work on next, and families receive homework and study materials to support practice between lessons.
Can you guarantee my child a place?+
No tutoring provider can promise a placement, and we won’t. What we do is help your child build the understanding, strategies and confidence to perform at their best on test day.
