The questions we’re asked most often — you may not need to write to us at all.
What year level should I enrol my child in? +
Classes are named for the year level your child is entering in 2027, not the year they are in now. A student finishing Year 8 this year enrols in the Year 9 (2027) class. If that is confusing, tell us the year they are in now and we will put them in the right class.
Can we try a class before enrolling? +
Yes. A free trial lesson is available, and it is the best way to judge us — your child sits in on a real class with the mentor who would teach them. There is no cost and no obligation to continue.
What if my child misses a lesson? +
They can join the same class live online instead of attending in person, and every lesson is available as a recording for 13 days afterwards. A missed class is never a lost class.
How much does it cost? +
Fees are per subject, per 10 lessons, and depend on the year level — they start at $290 for OC or Selective Thinking Skills and $395 for OC or Selective English or Mathematics (10% off both when you join online), and $400 for Years 7–9. Liverpool classes also carry a $50 resources and learning platform fee per student per term, charged once no matter how many subjects they take. Every fee is listed on our courses page.
How big are the classes? +
On average, about 12 to 15 students. Small enough that a mentor notices when a student is struggling, which is the point.
Do you run classes during the school holidays? +
Yes. We teach across a 47-week calendar, running continuously across those teaching weeks, so learning does not stop for the holidays and there is no restarting from scratch each term.

Send us a message using the form on this page, or call 1300 92 92 99, and tell us the classes your child currently attends. Our team will move them across for you. We are preserving a very similar timetable wherever possible, and working hard to retain familiar tutors. Which subjects do you teach? +
English and Mathematics from Year 7, OC and Selective preparation for primary students, Science from Year 9, and the full HSC subject set in Years 11 and 12 — English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Business Studies and Legal Studies. Every subject, including OC and Selective preparation, can be chosen individually; there are no compulsory packages.
